On Tuesday 16th November, Alison took Trixie Trishaw along to Woodside Grange Care Home in Thornaby to meet with Care Home Manager, Denese, to chat about the project and explore the possibility of taking care home residents for trishaw rides around the local area.
During the visit, Denese was unsure about experiencing a trishaw ride first hand, however, she did manage to find two members of staff from the Learning Disabilities unit to enjoy a short circuit of the car park.
Feedback was very positive and we are looking forward to supporting the residents of Woodside Grange to explore the great outdoors as soon as it is deemed safe to do so.
