Cycling Without Age was invited to pitch at Stockton Soup, at ARC in Stockton, in July for some community funding towards the launch of our Stockton Chapter of Cycling Without Age which involves purchasing our first trishaw.
Tesco teamed up with Groundwork to launch its community funding scheme, which sees grants of £4,000, £2,000 and £1,000 raised from carrier bag sales in Tesco stores awarded to local community projects.
Hand In Hand Activities Director, Mark Shields, took a break from his day job to join us at John Whitehead Park and experience the trishaw first hand.
The smiles on their faces when they returned said it all, even though it was snowing!
